We offer a welcoming, positive and caring environment to those people who are willing to learn farm duties. We require a minimum of eight hours per week in order to volunteer with us. We hold orientation twice per month and also offer discounted training classes to those who would like to further there knowledge for horses. Must be 16 years old or older for volunteer position.
The following positions are available:
Frances is an Army veteran having worked in the medical field during her time served. She is a Team Captain for the National Multiple Society Walk Team for her company and has been fundraising for them for over 13 years. She spends most of her time with her family when she is not working and the rest of her time volunteering at various animal rescue organizations on Long Island. She enjoys advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves and helping those less fortunate then herself.
Frank is a lifelong animal activist.
He has served on several Non-Profit Boards, and as President of one for over 20 years.
In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and his hobby of American Civil War Re-enacting where he serves as Colonel of the Union Volunteers.
His love for horses is unmatched and has owned horses in the past.
